What is the delivery time?
SCP strives to keep a wide range of mantles in stock in order to offer a fast delivery. Rarely requested sheaths may have a longer delivery time, please ask us.
Which crushing chambers can be supplied?
The list of our mantle range is not specifically divided by crushing chamber but by which machines we have mantles for. We have most of the existing crushing chambers for the machines on the list. In addition, we have some special designs and are happy to discuss your needs for crushing chambers.
What is the manganese content of the SCP?
Our mantles are available to order with different manganese contents. The most common is manganese content between 18 – 22%. Keep in mind that different suppliers have different manganese content designations, so it is best that you indicate which manganese content you are looking for and we are happy to indicate specifically which manganese content we supply.
Is higher manganese always better?
Higher manganese content results in harder mantles that usually, but not always, last longer. But the hardness can mean that the mantles grip is reduced. For the best operating economy, the manganese content should be selected according to the production situation.
We have uneven or unexpectedly fast wear of our mantles, what can we do?
We are happy to help you optimize your operating situation. Potential for improvement can lie in the process, the crusher feed and settings as well as the type of mantles. We analyze your situation and are happy to make suggestions for improvement.
Can SCP supply mantles to a crusher that is not on the list ?
We are constantly expanding our range and can produce a mantle to your specification. It may take a little longer, especially if it is to be designed for a new application. Please contact us with your request.
